I would like to create a “sub battle league” with some of the biggest chess community on Twitch.
What you would read are just ideas to discuss and try to create something fun and interesting for the Twitch community.
Rules I would see
Matchs are played on 15 Boards with 3+0 (or 3+1) time control.
There are 8 teams divided in 2 groups of 4. First two teams go into 1/2 and final. To decide who goes throught the pool, each team plays 2 matchs against each other. In case of equality the Goal Average should apply.
The winner of the competition wins 100 subs (offered by the 7 other teams). Finalist with 50 subs (offered by 6 other teams). 3rd place gets 30 subs. For each match teams can agree to whatever stake they want for each team.
Of course it’s hard to ensure that every sub that plays is fair to everyone. Let’s count on the fair play of every streamer/community. While playing match with Alexandra we kicked away every suspicious players and it seems that it encourages people to stop trying to cheat as it’s pointless. I believe that’s a good way to go, but of course any other experience is useful.
I think that’s all for the moment.
